Our Story
Fundamental Accounting & Taxation was founded in 2021 by Scott Hammond. As a member of Chartered Accountants – Australia + New Zealand we strive for excellence in everything we do. Fundamental Accounting & Taxation is a registered tax agent as well as a Xero certified advisor.
The firm is built upon the foundation of strong relationships with its clients. With the benefit of not being a large firm, clients receive personal service from an an accountant with over 25 years worth of experience in a large firm advising clients of all types and sizes. Fundamental Accounting & Taxation are the core to your financial evolution.

Although small in number the team at Fundamental Accounting and Taxation has nearly 40 years combined experience in assisting people reach their personal and financial goals.
Scott Hammond
Director
After a career break, the love of the work and the clients drew Scott back to the industry and he created Fundamental Accounting & Taxation. Scott likes all facets of the accounting industry but specifically loves assisting business clients in planning for the future and seeing those plans come to fruition.
Scott can be sometimes be found on the local golf course or fishing with his son but really enjoys quality time with his family. He is ultimately looking to return to trail running.
Kendall Hammond
Office Manager
Kendall has long worked along side Scott with his clients in an administration role in the firms he has worked at, being in the industry since 2008. She has a good knowledge of the accounting industry and what is needed to assist clients with their needs.
Kendall has taken a liking to crochet with many blankets recently produced for family members and friends. Most of all though she enjoys spending time with her family.
